Luxury Vacation Villa in Ostuni undoubtedly means  spending the vacation in one of the favorite destinations for tourists arriving in Puglia. They admire the town perched on a hill from afar and let themselves be enchanted by the pure white of the walls of its houses, which gives tranquility to the eyes and the heart.

Choosing to spend your holidays in this corner of paradise that lies in the wonderful Valle d’Itria, means choosing to live a holiday in total relaxation, in contact with the simple and pure emotions that only Puglia can give.

With this in mind, we think that staying directly in Ostuni could, however, be not very wise. The city in the summer attracts thousands of tourists and sometimes gets a little chaotic. Therefore, we recommend staying just outside the city center, choosing as always one of the luxury villas selected by BeeYond Travel. In particular, choosing Villa Teia, a few kilometers from the center of Ostuni and only 17 Km from Costa Merlata. This coast offers beautiful and unspoiled beaches.

Here the days will be spent in absolute quiet: after a walk among the olive trees. You can relax by the pool, enjoying the shade of the patio and the barbecue area and prepare delicious lunches. In the evening you can reach the nightlife of Ostuni, to drink excellent wine in the company of sincere friends.

Our property manager will meet the guest at the property, or where it is most convenient for the guest, for check-in. From the moment you check-in, a person will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of problems.

The History of this luxury vacation villa

The villa dates back to 1877, but has been perfectly restored maintaining the Apulian building features such as the star and barrel ceilings, the stone fireplace, and the handmade ceramic tiles, a detail that will not escape the eyes of the most discerning guests. It is equipped with all comforts: air conditioning for the summer and heated floors for the winter, Wi-Fi connection, SMART TV with Netflix, alarm and video intercom.

The property also offers a beautiful outdoor area with a heated swimming pool with solar shower. In addition, the villa features covered patio, and outdoor kitchen with barbecue, sink, and burners. Next, we move inside the villa; here, we have the living room with fireplace and sofa bed, kitchen, 2 master double bedrooms with bathroom, bedroom with a bunk bed, and third bathroom for guests.

The free WiFi covers the inside of the house and the covered patio area.

• INDEMNITY & LIABILITY:

The “Client” is responsible for their own travel/health insurance. The “Tour Operator” shall not be held responsible in any way for accidental injury, death or damage/loss to personal effects of the “Client”. If, due to circumstances beyond the “Tour Operator” control, such as flood, fire, hurricane or other damage, and as a consequence unable to honor this agreement, the deposit and advanced payments shall be fully refunded provided said damage was not the fault of the “client”. The “client” is responsible for all damages excluding wear and tear, and including those which exceed the deposit amount.

• CANCELLATIONS:

The cancellation penalties are as follows: 

• 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier.

• Cancellations received 59 days or less prior to check-in are Non-Refundable

We strongly urge you to take Trip Cancellation Insurance.

• SECURITY DEPOSIT:

If required, a security deposit must be paid upon check-in directly to the owner, as a guarantee for possible damages and/or extra charges which are not included in the rental price. Should the damage exceed this amount, “BeeYond Travel” has the right to ask for the full amount of damage to be paid in full. If this amount will be paid by credit card, an additional 3% credit card commission fee will be added to the damage amount. This deposit will be refunded at check out by the Owner upon satisfactory inspection of the villa.

ELECTRIC CONSUMPTION:

Electricity consumption is generally included in the rental cost. This information is detailed in the property description. Alternatively, some properties have a certain allowance of electricity included in the rental. Where a property has an electricity allowance included (e.g. 400kw per week), any excess above this consumption level will be calculated and the additional amount will be charged on the credit card on file + 3% credit card fees (e.g. consumption of 453kw = 453 – 400= 53 x $ 0.5 = $ 26.5 + 0.80 = $ 27.30). Should a charge apply for electricity this will be taken only for the extra consumption after the allowable amount of electricity has been exceeded (see example above). A meter reading will be taken at check-in and check-out to verify the usage of those properties with electricity allowance.

• MAINTENANCE:

The Owner or his representative reserves the right to enter the property for essential maintenance works (garden, swimming pool, etc.).

• BEHAVIOR:

The “client” is responsible for his/her behavior while occupying the property. Should the “client” fail to behave in a civilized manner, the owner or his representative has the right to ask the “client” to leave immediately. The “client” will be financially responsible for all damages caused while on the property. Should the “client” be asked to leave, the “client” will lose any right to a reimbursement. Any damage amount will be deducted from the security deposit. If the amount of damage(s) is higher than the security deposit, “client” must pay the difference.

• BUILDING WORK:

Even though you are on holiday, the locals are not and on rare occasions building work might commence without any prior warning near to a property. Whilst we have no control over this, if advised, we will endeavor to intervene to halt it. Naturally, if we are made aware of any nearby building work we would always try to advise you in advance of your holiday.

• COMPLAINTS:

The description of the properties listed on the website are accurate and are made in good faith, “BeeYond Travel” makes every effort to minimize any description errors but cannot be held responsible in any way for omissions, changes “BeeYond Travel” is not aware of. If the client has a complaint about the property/service, he/she should inform “BeeYond Travel” immediately at +1-646-205-3079 or +39-0832-1827366 and confirm in writing at info@beeyondtravel.com detailing the problem within 24 hours. Complaints will not be considered unless this procedure is observed. The “Tour Operator”, and/or the Owner reserve the right to inspect the property or the whereabouts of the service provided to verify the complaint. All reasonable attempts to rectify the problem will be made by “BeeYond Travel”, or the Owner. If it is deemed by “BeeYond Travel” that the property/service falls short of that advertised, “BeeYond Travel” reserves the right to offer the client a similar property/service of similar value. This will be governed by the availability calendar. If the price of an alternative accommodation/service is lower than the price of the booked villa/service, “BeeYond Travel” will refund the client the difference between the initial price and the rate of the alternative accommodation. Should the “Client” accept this exchange, no additional compensation can be requested by the “Client”. If no alternative property/service is available, “BeeYond Travel” will refund the remaining rental/service amount for the remaining days not taken or for the service not consumed. Under no circumstances will “BeeYond Travel” pay hotel or other accommodation costs. If a “Client” leaves a property or does not start the service without giving “BeeYond Travel”, the possibility of verifying the reason for the complaint, the “Client” will not have the right to claim any compensation, for loss, or injury to personal feelings after the checkout. The “Client” who chose to leave the property or to not start a service before the established end date due to personal reasons, and not due to a particular condition of the villa, will not receive any reimbursement or compensation. “BeeYond Travel” will not consider a “Client” complaint one that is out of the control of “BeeYond Travel” such as but not limited to adverse weather conditions, earthquakes, possible distinctive smell caused by organic fertilizer, stings or presence of insects. “BeeYond Travel” cannot be held responsible for any shortcomings or interruptions to the water, Internet, WiFi, gas or electricity supply, nor for damage to the pool filtration pump and for all events out of “BeeYond Travel” or the owner’s control. All reasonable attempts will be made to recover these services.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES:

Check-in time is normally between 17.00 and 20.00. Check-ins after standard hours are possible but will be subject a late check-in fee as follow:

$80.00 for check-ins made from 8:00pm to 10:00pm

€150.00 for check-ins after 10:00 pm

The above-mentioned fees exclude any pre-scheduled flight arrival times and agreements to be communicated in writing at the time of booking. Upon arrival, the “client” must show the booking confirmation which will have details of all the members of the party. If there is any substitution of persons during the stay, this should be agreed in advance and in writing by “BeeYond Travel”, otherwise, the whole party will be asked to leave due to strict regulations mandated by the local Authorities. In which case the client will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation. The clients must depart before 10.00am, after returning the house keys and allowing the owner or his representative to inspect the condition of the property.

• CLEANING:

Cleaning fees vary from property to property. Upon arrival, the client will find the property in a clean and tidy condition. Any cleaning fees are clearly listed at the time of booking. Cleaning of the cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, kitchen corner/kitchen/kitchenette and the removal of rubbish is “client” responsibility and it is not included in the final cleaning. If “client” neglects the cleaning, we are obliged to charge you an additional amount to compensate the owner for his additional costs.

• PETS POLICY:

The majority of our villas will allow small pets up to 25 pounds (11.5 Kilos). The small pets policy requires a small fee of $140.00 selectable at time of booking to cover professional clean-up upon check out. If the property booked, features a pool, the pets fee will be increased to $420. If you do not see the “Pets Cleaning” available at the time of booking we ask that you check with us before making a booking.

  • Partially Refundable Teia, from $365 per night
    1) PLEASE NOTE: Only a credit card authorization will be taken to start a booking request. Once we have confirmation of availability for the property you wanted to book, we will process the charge for the 50% deposit if booking 60 days out or full payment if the check in date falls 59 days prior to check in date. We use Stripe to process all credit card transactions. Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 which is the highest grade of payment processing security. You can rest assured that your information is safe and secure. Should the property be unavailable, we will simply release the credit card authorization. The funds we were holding will be immediately available on your account. This is a much faster and secure procedure.

The current owner proudly tells the story of this magnificent house, which belonged to illustrious names, such as Olga Rosselli, wife of Totò Miggiano, a “Cavaliere”, who transformed the residence into an elegant meeting place for artists and intellectuals.

The love of the current owner for the villa, led him to undertake restoration work that made it astonishing. Even the furniture smells of antique and speaks of times when in these rooms you could breathe an air of elegance and refinement. Many of the furniture dates back to the 18th century, like the chairs, in perfect neoclassical style.

“La Casa degli Affetti” offers its guests five double rooms with five bathrooms, a large living room, and a kitchen, which has remained intact. In the wing of the villa added after there are two more bedrooms with two other bathrooms.

A swimming pool, surrounded by prickly pears and palm trees in the garden, completes the already complex and appropriate offer of this villa, which will not disappoint you at all.

If, due to circumstances beyond the “Tour Operator” control, such as flood, fire, hurricane or other damage, and as a consequence unable to honor this agreement, the deposit and advanced payments shall be fully refunded provided said damage was not the fault of the “client”. The “client” is responsible for all damages excluding wear and tear, and including those which exceed the deposit amount.

• CANCELLATIONS:

The cancellation penalties are as follows: 

• 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier.

• Cancellations received 59 days or less prior to check-in are Non-Refundable

We strongly urge you to take Trip Cancellation Insurance.

• SECURITY DEPOSIT:

If required, a security deposit must be paid upon check-in directly to the owner, as a guarantee for possible damages and/or extra charges which are not included in the rental price. Should the damage exceed this amount, “BeeYond Travel” has the right to ask for the full amount of damage to be paid in full. If this amount will be paid by credit card, an additional 3% credit card commission fee will be added to the damage amount. This deposit will be refunded at check out by the Owner upon satisfactory inspection of the villa.

ELECTRIC CONSUMPTION:

Electricity consumption is generally included in the rental cost. This information is detailed in the property description. Alternatively, some properties have a certain allowance of electricity included in the rental. Where a property has an electricity allowance included (e.g. 400kw per week), any excess above this consumption level will be calculated and the additional amount will be charged on the credit card on file + 3% credit card fees (e.g. consumption of 453kw = 453 – 400= 53 x $ 0.5 = $ 26.5 + 0.80 = $ 27.30). Should a charge apply for electricity this will be taken only for the extra consumption after the allowable amount of electricity has been exceeded (see example above). A meter reading will be taken at check-in and check-out to verify the usage of those properties with electricity allowance.

• MAINTENANCE:

The Owner or his representative reserves the right to enter the property for essential maintenance works (garden, swimming pool, etc.).

• BEHAVIOR:

The “client” is responsible for his/her behavior while occupying the property. Should the “client” fail to behave in a civilized manner, the owner or his representative has the right to ask the “client” to leave immediately. The “client” will be financially responsible for all damages caused while on the property. Should the “client” be asked to leave, the “client” will lose any right to a reimbursement. Any damage amount will be deducted from the security deposit. If the amount of damage(s) is higher than the security deposit, “client” must pay the difference.

• BUILDING WORK:

Even though you are on holiday, the locals are not and on rare occasions building work might commence without any prior warning near to a property. Whilst we have no control over this, if advised, we will endeavor to intervene to halt it. Naturally, if we are made aware of any nearby building work we would always try to advise you in advance of your holiday.

• COMPLAINTS:

The description of the properties listed on the website are accurate and are made in good faith, “BeeYond Travel” makes every effort to minimize any description errors but cannot be held responsible in any way for omissions, changes “BeeYond Travel” is not aware of. If the client has a complaint about the property/service, he/she should inform “BeeYond Travel” immediately at +1-646-205-3079 or +39-0832-1827366 and confirm in writing at info@beeyondtravel.com detailing the problem within 24 hours. Complaints will not be considered unless this procedure is observed. The “Tour Operator”, and/or the Owner reserve the right to inspect the property or the whereabouts of the service provided to verify the complaint. All reasonable attempts to rectify the problem will be made by “BeeYond Travel”, or the Owner. If it is deemed by “BeeYond Travel” that the property/service falls short of that advertised, “BeeYond Travel” reserves the right to offer the client a similar property/service of similar value. This will be governed by the availability calendar. If the price of an alternative accommodation/service is lower than the price of the booked villa/service, “BeeYond Travel” will refund the client the difference between the initial price and the rate of the alternative accommodation. Should the “Client” accept this exchange, no additional compensation can be requested by the “Client”. If no alternative property/service is available, “BeeYond Travel” will refund the remaining rental/service amount for the remaining days not taken or for the service not consumed. Under no circumstances will “BeeYond Travel” pay hotel or other accommodation costs. If a “Client” leaves a property or does not start the service without giving “BeeYond Travel”, the possibility of verifying the reason for the complaint, the “Client” will not have the right to claim any compensation, for loss, or injury to personal feelings after the checkout. The “Client” who chose to leave the property or to not start a service before the established end date due to personal reasons, and not due to a particular condition of the villa, will not receive any reimbursement or compensation. “BeeYond Travel” will not consider a “Client” complaint one that is out of the control of “BeeYond Travel” such as but not limited to adverse weather conditions, earthquakes, possible distinctive smell caused by organic fertilizer, stings or presence of insects. “BeeYond Travel” cannot be held responsible for any shortcomings or interruptions to the water, Internet, WiFi, gas or electricity supply, nor for damage to the pool filtration pump and for all events out of “BeeYond Travel” or the owner’s control. All reasonable attempts will be made to recover these services.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES:

Check-in time is normally between 17.00 and 20.00. Check-ins after standard hours are possible but will be subject a late check-in fee as follow:

$80.00 for check-ins made from 8:00pm to 10:00pm

€150.00 for check-ins after 10:00 pm

The above-mentioned fees exclude any pre-scheduled flight arrival times and agreements to be communicated in writing at the time of booking. Upon arrival, the “client” must show the booking confirmation which will have details of all the members of the party. If there is any substitution of persons during the stay, this should be agreed in advance and in writing by “BeeYond Travel”, otherwise, the whole party will be asked to leave due to strict regulations mandated by the local Authorities. In which case the client will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation. The clients must depart before 10.00am, after returning the house keys and allowing the owner or his representative to inspect the condition of the property.

• CLEANING:

Cleaning fees vary from property to property. Upon arrival, the client will find the property in a clean and tidy condition. Any cleaning fees are clearly listed at the time of booking. Cleaning of the cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, kitchen corner/kitchen/kitchenette and the removal of rubbish is “client” responsibility and it is not included in the final cleaning. If “client” neglects the cleaning, we are obliged to charge you an additional amount to compensate the owner for his additional costs.

• PETS POLICY:

The majority of our villas will allow small pets up to 25 pounds (11.5 Kilos). The small pets policy requires a small fee of $140.00 selectable at time of booking to cover professional clean-up upon check out. If the property booked, features a pool, the pets fee will be increased to $420. If you do not see the “Pets Cleaning” available at the time of booking we ask that you check with us before making a booking.

There is a hidden Puglia. Made of ancient gestures and rituals full of history and tradition that you can perceive in the traces left over time.

The most visible traces are those that can be seen among the cracks of our monuments, some, written on the walls and windows of our churches.

We at BeeYond Travel found this hidden Puglia as soon as we entered the rooms of Palazzo San Giovanni, a historic residence overlooking Piazza San Giovanni in Morciano di Leuca.

We relived the atmosphere of milling the oil in the trappeti, ancient oil mills that surround the building. We have felt the strength of the Lecce stone of the fireplaces that are in the rooms. We perceived the skill of the sculptors who created the star vault of the breakfast room with that same Lecce stone.

This time we want to really show you something different. Something you can only find here.

Without forgetting, of course, the comforts to which we have become accustomed: the Palazzo has been recently restored (2013) and has four rooms and two apartments, for a total of 16 beds.

Everything about the Palazzo is wonderful, to say the least. Morciano di Leuca is located in the extreme edge of the Salento peninsula, and is very close to the famous “Maldives of Salento”: white sandy beaches that face the Ionian.

It originates from the destruction of the ancient city of Vereto by the Saracens.

The etymology of its name seems to derive from the Latin ‘murex’ which indicates the type of rocky and hilly terrain on which the town stands.

Palazzo San Giovanni is therefore located in a heavenly landscape and spending your holidays there will give you emotions that you will hardly forget.

Breakfast is included daily, always plentiful, features fresh and homemade products on the table for an awakening like true nobles.

And, in general, this whole area is perfect for food and wine lovers: the main product is extra virgin olive oil, but also the local wine is of excellent quality. This area is filled with history, art, folklore and ancient traditions. Here, it is possible to live many different and interesting experiences

One of these is Galatone, 25 km from Lecce. It is mainly known for its proximity to the wonderful beach of Santa Maria al Bagno, but there is more to that and it should be discovered thoroughly.

Galatone has ancient origins, even dating back to the Neolithic period, even if the maximum splendor dates back to the Middle Ages, when the Castle of Fulcignano was built, an imposing Norman fortress.

There are many festivals and feasts that animate the small town of Salento, but the most important is the “Carru ti Sant’Elina”, the re-enactment of the return to Rome of Queen Elena, mother of Emperor Constantine, from the Holy Land.

The importance that the inhabitants of Galatone reserve to this event and the love that binds them to Saint Helena, have brought to our mind memories of this tradition as soon as we have crossed the threshold of Villa Elena, a tower that dates back to the middle of Six hundred. Originally it belonged to a large fortified farm, of which, however, today the only trace is the arcadian atmosphere that you breathe walking through the garden surrounding Villa Elena.

The characteristic military traits are mitigated by the elegance of the interiors of this villa, creating a refined blend of sour and sweet, between strong and tender that will amaze you pleasantly.

The interiors are fully air-conditioned and perfect even in winter, given the presence of a fireplace that will warm up your winter vacation.

The “Client” who chose to leave the property or to not start a service before the established end date due to personal reasons, and not due to a particular condition of the villa, will not receive any reimbursement or compensation. “BeeYond Travel” will not consider a “Client” complaint one that is out of the control of “BeeYond Travel” such as but not limited to adverse weather conditions, earthquakes, possible distinctive smell caused by organic fertilizer, stings or presence of insects. “BeeYond Travel” cannot be held responsible for any shortcomings or interruptions to the water, Internet, WiFi, gas or electricity supply, nor for damage to the pool filtration pump and for all events out of “BeeYond Travel” or the owner’s control. All reasonable attempts will be made to recover these services. 

 

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation penalties are as follows: • 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier. • Cancellations received 59 days or less prior to check-in are Non-Refundable We strongly urge you to take Trip Cancellation Insurance.

 

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES:

Check-in time is normally between 17.00 and 20.00. Check-ins after standard hours are possible but will be subject a late check-in fee as follow:

$80.00 for check-ins made from 8:00pm to 10:00pm

€150.00 for check-ins after 10:00 pm

The above-mentioned fees exclude any pre-scheduled flight arrival times and agreements to be communicated in writing at the time of booking. Upon arrival, the “client” must show the booking confirmation which will have details of all the members of the party. If there is any substitution of persons during the stay, this should be agreed in advance and in writing by “BeeYond Travel”, otherwise, the whole party will be asked to leave due to strict regulations mandated by the local Authorities. In which case the client will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation. The clients must depart before 10.00am, after returning the house keys and allowing the owner or his representative to inspect the condition of the property.

• CLEANING:

Cleaning fees vary from property to property. Upon arrival, the client will find the property in a clean and tidy condition. Any cleaning fees are clearly listed at the time of booking. Cleaning of the cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, kitchen corner/kitchen/kitchenette and the removal of rubbish is “client” responsibility and it is not included in the final cleaning. If “client” neglects the cleaning, we are obliged to charge you an additional amount to compensate the owner for his additional costs.

• PETS POLICY:

The majority of our villas will allow small pets up to 25 pounds (11.5 Kilos). The small pets policy requires a small fee of $140.00 selectable at time of booking to cover professional clean-up upon check out. If the property booked, features a pool, the pets fee will be increased to $420. If you do not see the “Pets Cleaning” available at the time of booking we ask that you check with us before making a booking.
